Biography of Eugene Iovine

Eugene Iovine has been creating artwork in various mediums for the past forty years, working with pencil, pastels, acrylic and oils on various canvas, board and paper all while living on Long Island, NY.

Eugene moved to Sullivan County in 2010 and immediately looked for ways to be involved in the art world. Volunteering as the Curator for installing various mediums of art in the County Center of Sullivan County located in Monticello, NY. Through the county website “Home Grown Artists of Sullivan County” he has met with various local artists to display their work. To date, Eugene has installed in excess of 150 pieces of work in the County Center and continues to do so.

He has participated in various art workshops that include painting, drawing and live models with well-known artists such as Mark Polinski, Cynthia Harris-Pagano and Susan Miiller.

Eugene is a member of the River Valley Artists Guild of Port Jervis and the Middletown Art Group. 

 Gene's work is included in many collections and he exhibits his work regionally in shows that include:
